Blessing of the Cribs

Sunday, December 15, 9am, 11am and 6pm in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral.

Families can bring their Cribs for the Blessing Ceremony which will take place during the Mass.

Thursday December 26 - Feast of St Stephen – Public holiday in SA (Boxing Day).

  • St John Viannney, Burnside - 9am Mass

Friday December 27 – Feast of St John the Evangelist
All churches within the parish will revert to the usual Mass schedule from December 27.

Saturday December 28 – Feast of the Holy Innocents
Masses will be as usual in the Cathedral parish.

Sunday December 29 – Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph
Sunday Masses will be as usual in the Cathedral parish.

Tuesday December 31 – New Year's Eve (Special Holy Hour and Mass)

  • St Francis Xavier's Cathedral - 11pm Holy Mass; Midnight Mass
  • Queen of Angels, Thebarton – (Syro-Malabar – Malayalam)
    11pm Holy Hour; Midnight Mass


Wednesday January 1, 2025 – Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God (Public holiday in SA).

  • St Francis Xavier's Cathedral - 10am (No Masses at any other of our churches.)

 

Thursday January 2 2025 – All services resume as per usual across the Adelaide Cathedral Parish.
