Adelaide Cathedral parish pilgrimage to Sevenhill

More than 150 faithful joined Adelaide Cathedral Parish in March for a pilgrimage from St Francis Xavier's Cathedral to St Aloysius Church, Sevenhill.
The day began with morning prayers and blessing by Fr Dean Marin, VG, at the Cathedral at 9am after which everyone began their pilgrimage to Sevenhill.
At Sevenhill, Fr Lancy and Fr George celebrated Mass. This was followed by a simple lunch, provided by Agnelo Fernandes and team.
The pilgrimage was a blessed success. It was a very warm day, but we were all grateful for the gentle, cool breeze that accompanied participants throughout the day.
Future pilgrimage dates include:
Archbishop Patrick O’Regan will make a pilgrimage to the Adelaide Archdiocese’s three Jubilee Pilgrimage Sites later this year.
He will travel to St Aloysius’ Catholic Church at Sevenhill on Saturday June 28; St Joseph’s Catholic Church at Penola on Saturday August 23 and St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral, Adelaide, on Saturday October 11.
Penola connects pilgrims to the courage and faith of St Mary MacKillop, a pioneer of Catholic education in SA; St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral is the spiritual heart of the Archdiocese where worshippers are invited to reflect on God’s mercy; and Sevenhill offers a peaceful setting to contemplate the Jesuit mission and the beauty of creation.
